This piece was one of the most challenging works so far. It took about 3 months to collect all of the necessary interviews and faced a lot of changes due to an unexpected problem.
This article was focused on the impacts that the pandemic had on enrollment in education programs across the United States. Originally scheduled for a two-week deadline, this article became complicated because of a lack of supporting data. However, it also led to understanding racial disparity and how systemic issues in the past had lasting damage to the present day. One of the most complicated articles to get interviews and find data for, but also one of the most entertaining pieces I have written.
